Inspired by Chia porridge i decided if i could make a similar porridge mainly with banana, like a banana porridge! I still used Chia seeds in the porridge but the mashed banana gave it a lovely creamier consistency and a richer flavour :) Again it is very simple! Travelling away from home in Geraldton at the moment i have a confession to make... i took mums jar of Chia seeds unknowing that they were her last lot. But from this i have found Chia seeds can be used to make a variety of Raw food breakfast porridge particularly mixed with fruits. Thank you mum for letting me find an easy way to eat Raw breakfasts while travelling!
Soak 1 Tbsp of Chia seeds in 2 Tbsp of water for 1-2 minutes while stirring.
Mash 1 medium-large banana into the Chia seeds.
Add shredded coconut, chopped natural almonds, 1-2 chopped fresh dates, 2-3 strawberries and drizzle with a little honey.
Blueberries and Raspberries would be amazing with banana too :)
