Les Mills Body Pump

My older sister joined the gym before me about 4 years ago now, she took me to my first ever pump class and introduced me to the world of the weights, thank you!! I started on light weights for my first day, but let me assure you that is still enough to make your weight deprived body work!! Lets just say i even had difficulty squatting to sit on the toilet the next day...

Since that day i have become addicted to Body Pump classes. Not only have they been a wonderful introduction into the world of weights but they have shaped and toned my body, increased my strength and power and boosted my confidence and self esteem! Body Pump, you are my love :) The great thing is you can always set yourself new goals and the classes are filled with fun and exercise inspired everyday people of all ages! The music tracks are fun, motivating and the instructors know how to ensure you have a good time as well as a good work out. How can it get any better than that!? It is wonderful to see in every class there are a range of people from all walks of fitness and all ages, it is female dominated but there are both males and females in and taking the classes. BODYPUMP is the original LES MILLS barbell class which will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body, fast! There are 10 tracks in the typical order of:

It has been exciting to see my body tone up over the past few years with body pump. It is best to do the classes 2-3 times a weeks to really see the benefits but i do recommend once you start to do a class AT LEAST once a week or else you wont get over that feeling that you can't sit on the toilet the next day ;) give your body a chance to transform and it will! :)
